About Us

MDM is a National Nonprofit, Non-Religious , Nonpolitical Non-Governmental Development Organization Which was found in the Year 2020 by a group of Development and Management Specialists. It was officially registered by the NGOs Coordination Board in the Office of the President of the Republic of Kenya on 4^th October 2024 vide Registration Number NGO -7WF20Y and Pin Number P052375249J.

Mission

MDM seeks to alleviate poverty and improve the livelihoods of the poor and disadvantaged members of the community by promoting their full integration and participation in their countries’ development processes.

OUR TARGET GROUPS

Our main target groups consist of marginalized and disadvantaged members of the society. They include children, girls, poor teenage mothers, single and widowed women, persons with disabilities, the elderly, unskilled and unemployed youth, indigenous groups, minorities, the urban poor and people living in arid and semi-arid lands.

PROGRAMME DELIVERY STRATEGY

MDM uses a participatory and all- inclusive development approach that engages all stakeholders and beneficiaries in the entire project management cycle. This enhances effective community participation, feedback and ownership of programmes and projects

STAKEHOLDERS

Our main stakeholders are members of the communities whom we serve. We also closely partner and collaborate with various Donor Partners, Government Ministries and Departments, Private and Public Sector Organizations , NGOs , CBOs , FBOs, other CSOs and special community interest groups with whom we share similar development goals and objectives.

Governance and Management

MDM is governed by a professional, committed and gender sensitive Board of Directors which is the supreme policy making organ of the organization. The implementation of Board policies and day to day running of the Organization’s development activities is carried out by the Executive Director with the help of a management team and administrative staff.
