MDM actively operates in and serves communities in West Pokot, Bungoma, Kakamega, Busia, Trans Nzoia, and Vihiga counties in Kenya.

Expanded to West Pokot, Busia, and Trans Nzoia. Introduced gender equity workshops, women's rights programmes, and mobile health clinics.
Formed alliances with county governments, AgriGm, Grace Baptist Church Misikhu, and international NGOs for amplified community impact.
Extended programmes into Vihiga County — the rolling Maragoli Hills — bringing MDM's total to six Western Kenya counties.

Dr. Andrew Sakari brings over 15 years of experience in community development and public health. As the founding CEO of MDM, he provides strategic leadership, guiding the organization's vision to empower vulnerable communities across Western Kenya. His expertise lies in designing sustainable programmes that integrate food security, health, and social justice.
Dismas Masinde
Head of Projects & Partnerships
Dismas Masinde oversees the planning, execution, and monitoring of all MDM projects. With a strong background in project management and community mobilization, he ensures our initiatives in counties like West Pokot and Kakamega are impactful, community-led, and delivered on time. He also manages key partnerships with local stakeholders and international collaborators.
Michael Brian Kundu
Head of Communication
Michael Brian Kundu leads MDM's communication strategy, managing our brand, storytelling, and digital presence. He is passionate about amplifying the voices of the communities we serve and ensuring transparency with our donors and partners through impactful reports and engaging content across all platforms.
Celestine N. Sakari
Director of Programme Support
Celestine N. Sakari is responsible for providing technical and operational support across all MDM programmes. She works closely with project heads to ensure that interventions in health, nutrition, and gender equity are effectively implemented and meet the highest standards of quality and accountability.
Maxwell Chacha
Head of ICT
Maxwell Chacha manages all information and communication technology infrastructure for MDM. He ensures our data management systems support effective project monitoring and that our team across Bungoma, Busia, and Trans Nzoia has the technological tools needed to work efficiently and securely.
Concepthor Barasa
Director of Finance
Concepthor Barasa ensures the financial integrity and sustainability of MDM. He oversees budgeting, accounting, and donor fund management, guaranteeing that every contribution is used transparently and effectively to maximize impact for the communities in need.
